One of the best things to remember about weight loss with Hypnosis is that you are not on a diet. You eat real food --- just less of it and with better healthy choices. Below are some recipes that are favorites of our clients. If you have a favorite recipe --- send it in and we will share it here.

Cold Chicken Salad

1 whole chicken deboned / cubed or shredded
-
3 apples diced ( I prefer Fuji apples)

1 to 1 1/2 cup of cut up grapes
-
2-3 stalks of celery - diced small
-
1/2 cup Cashew nuts chopped
-
1/4 - 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
-
1/2 cup mayonaise
-
Mrs Dash Original seasoning (yellow top)
Mix chicken, grapes, raisins, and apples together in large bowl
Season with Mrs Dash seasoning and salt to taste
Add cashews and stir in mayonaise until salad sticks together
Cover & refrigerate
Cold Broccoli Salad

1 lb broccoli florets or chopped up broccoli
-
1/4 cup Red onion (chopped)
-
1/2 cup bacon bits or 4-5 slices of crispy bacon crumbled
-
1/4 cup salted sunflower seeds
-
1/4 -n 1/3 cup raisins
-
1/2 cup Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese (shredded)
-
1/3 cup Mayonaise
-
1/4 cup sugar ( I use Splenda)
-
2-3 tbsp of Organic Apple cider Vinegar
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl
Stir together the Mayonaise, Sweetener, & Apple Cider vinegar until the mixture is smooth
Pour dressing over the salad & mix together well
Chill salad for at least 30 minutes up to 24 hrs and serve
Broccoli / Squash / Chicken casserole

2 lbs of chicken breast (cubed into 1" or smaller pieces)
-
3 lbs of broccoli florets or cut up broccoli
-
1 lb squash (frozen or fresh) cut into small pieces
-
3-4 tablespoons Italian salad dressing
-
10-12 oz Velveeta cheese
Stir the Italian dressing into the chicken & season to taste
Place chicken in large pot & cook on med - high until the meat is done It will turn white)
Pour in broccoli & squash with the chicken -- season to taste &
cover the pot. Cook on med - high stirring frequently until the
vegetables are done/ soft. NOTE: Vegetables are usually done @ the
same time that the water/juices cook out of the mixture.
Pour mixture from pot into large baking pan (9x13 or larger) and set aside
Cut up velveeta into chunks & add 2-3 tablespoons of milk in the
bowl ---- put bowl into microwave and melt the cheese until it will
pour easily (you have to stop & stir this mixture often)
Pour the cheese over the mixture in the baking dish and serve
Darryl's Eggplant Pizza

1-3 eggplants or as many as you want to serve
-
Tomatoes - enough when sliced to cover the eggplants

Olive Oil & minced garlic
-
Grated or shredded cheese of your choice (Mozzarella, Parmesan, Cheddar)
Peel eggplants & slice @ 1/4" thick --
Baste both sides of the eggplant with olive oil & minced garlic & place them in a large baking pan or on a cookie sheet
Slice tomatoes & cover the eggplant slices with tomato -- season to taste
Bake the eggplant/tomato @ 400 degrees for @ 20 minutes or until the eggplant is tender
Put cheese of your choice on top of each eggplant slice
Put eggplants back into oven until the cheese melts -
Take pan out & serve
Eggplant Cheyenne

2-3 eggplants
-
2 cans stewed tomatoes (can use Italian or Mexican style)
-
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
-
Olive Oil --- Minced Garlic
-
Oregano / Garlic/Salt/Pepper / Mrs Dash Italian style seasoning
- Parmesan Cheese -- shaker style
Season hamburger & stir fry until done (sloppy joe consistency)
Peel Eggplants & cut into 1/2" - 3/4" size pieces
Place eggplant in large pot with 3-4 tbsp of olive oil & 2-3 tbsp
minced garlic - add stewed tomatoes & season the mixture to your
taste.
Cook eggplant / tomato mixture slowly stirring occasionally to keep from sticking until the mixture is soft.
Add in the cooked hamburger & stir in parmesan cheese to taste
Serve as a stand alone dish or over rice -- It is delicious
Home Made Chicken Soup
- 1 lb chicken meat (white or dark)
- 5 cans chicken broth
- 1 can cream of chicken
- 1/4 cup chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1 1/2 cup thin sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups of egg noodles ( can use wheat or artichoke)
- 1/2 tablespoon basil
- 1/2 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
Mix together chicken broth & cream of chicken in a large pot
Add in the chick & boil until the meat falls off of the bone
In a separate pot -- saute the garlic, onions, carrots and celery until the carrots are about halfway done
When the chicken is done -- remove it from the pot -- let it cool --- pull it off the bone & shred it
Put the sauteed vegetables and shredded chicken in the pot with the chicken broth
Add in basil, oregano, black pepper, green onions, & egg noodles
Bring to a boil and place on low heat for 20 minutes ---- when it is finished let it stand for about 5 inutes before serving
